Born and raised in
Brazil, Claudia had an extensive Arts background. She focused her talents in the
fashion field by working with some of Brazil's top designers. While visiting New
York City she met and married her future business partner, Paulo.
Claudia kept active in
the visual arts field by branching out into pottery, paintings and music. When
her husband bought her first beads they started making jewelry together. Soon
both realized that they should open a company and market Claudia Lobao jewelry.
Moving to San Antonio,
TX from New York City gave both Claudia and Paulo time to develop their company
and brand. Within just 2 years Claudia Lobao jewelry was a staple on ABC’s
Desperate Housewives. According to the shows stylists no other brand of jewelry
has been represented more on the show than Claudia Lobao.
As Director of Design
and Development, Claudia focuses on development of new products and Private
label.
